Last updated: April 2026 · Developed by Akarsh Bajpai
Newsynk is a news aggregator application that curates headlines from trusted third-party news providers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Plain English summary: We collect only what is necessary for your account and app experience. We never sell your data. We never show ads.
Newsynk integrates: Google Firebase (auth, database, notifications), The Guardian Open Platform, GNews, and Currents API — each with their own privacy policies. All articles link directly to their original publisher.
Your account data is stored securely in Google Firebase, protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store passwords — all authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at letnewsynk@gmail.com. We will permanently delete your data from Firebase within 30 days.
Newsynk is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
